Purple Patch Running : Heyford Airbase

Heyford Airbase

Get an insight into what went on 'Behind the Wire' at Oxfordshire's most formidable Cold War Airbase.

Set in the beautiful Cherwell Valley countryside, the three routes all utilise the base's Runway, RAF Taxiway and NATO Taxiway and are therefore pancake flat, traffic-free and pretty much PB guaranteed!

Choose between the 5K, 10K or Half Marathon - all equally good for those venturing into racing, moving up a distance or just trying to improve times.

Something for the whole family and a safe environment for spectators with refreshments and plenty of history around you!
