Perhaps joining a running club has always seemed to be either just something that other runners do, or too much commitment, too scary, or just not convenient due to your own work/family commitments. We have formed Purple Patch Running Club to provide runners just like you with your own running club; with all the benefits of a traditional club, but without the pressures of having to meet on a certain ‘club’ night and train in a certain way.

We will send you a list of targeted races across the country. You enter those you would like to run and we will meet you there, together with any other Purple Patch Runners who have entered. Meet us at our gazebo and enjoy the companionship of belonging to a club.

You will recieve regular bi-monthly Newsletters detailing club members running and racing experiences.  We also have an annual awards/social evening.

We will be there with advice and guidance if you need it.
